They say an Alfa Romeo is a poor man's Ferrari, but when a car looks as good as the Brera does, who cares? The Brera was in production from 2005 until 2012; with looks to die for and total sex appeal, it could only come from Italy. The cars listed here are the 'go fast' version, featuring a punchy 3.2 litre V6 motor producing 191kW. Fit an aftermarket exhaust and the sound... well Beethoven couldn't do it better. Be warned, the Brera, just like everything Italian, is complex and temperamental, unless you know an Alfa specialist, ownership may be painful. Get a good one however and it will be the start of a love affair you'll never get over.
